Perhaps the most famous of Agemian’s works is the Face of Christ, which exists in several versions. (Two different versions are available here; this is version 1. Click here for version 2.) Agemian used the image on the Holy Shroud (the Turin Shroud) as his ‘model’ using forensic imagery from the original Shroud of Turin.
This painting is based on the negative photo done in 1936 in Torino, Italy, using the imprint on the Shroud of Turin.
Reproduction of the Painting
The Face of Christ, the famous painting based Agemian’s Shroud of Turin image, is available as a high-quality art print. (This is a stunning new reprint, just completed in December, 2015.)
Measuring 10 inches by 13 inches and reproduced on an ultra-white felt paper, the print does not have a white border. It is suitable for framing.
It ships flat to prevent wrinkles, and it is safely packed in a durable USPS box.
